Project Overview
From 2014 to 2018, I worked as a packaging designer, illustrator, and production artist for OOLY, a gift and stationery company located in Oceanside, CA. The brand ethos is one of uniqueness, creative expression, and above all, fun.
During my time as first an intern, then an employee, and ultimately a freelancer for OOLY, I had the chance to create packaging designs that are as fun, colorful, and youthful (or youthful at heart) as the people who use OOLY products and share them with their loved ones. OOLY can be found at stores like Forever 21, Urban Outfitters, Paper Source, and Blick Art Materials.
This particular product shoot was independently arranged by me in order to showcase my packaging design work, as well as an exercise in photo styling and art direction.
